For all who are united with Jesus through faith:

1. The perfect life and death of Christ have delivered us—and continue to deliver us—from sin, death, and Satan.

a. All our sins have been forgiven—past, present, and future.

b. We have assurance of salvation (eternal security).

2. The resurrection of Christ has unleashed the grace and power of God’s kingdom and new creation, which has already begun, though it is not yet consummated.

a. The presence, power, and gifts of the Holy Spirit are already ours.

b. We already live and operate within the realm of God’s inaugurated kingdom and new creation.
