A Sunday Message from Genesis 15:2-5

In Genesis 5:1 God promised Abram, “…your reward shall be very great.”
To that Abram responded with honest questions.
But Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.” (verses 2-3)
Instead of rebuking him, the Lord responded back with redoubled promises.
