GOD’S PERSON AND SAVING WORK IS OUR ROCK OF COVENANT ASSURANCE AND SECURITY
“And he said to him, ‘I am the LORD [lit. YAHWEH] who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.’” (Genesis 15:7)
The LORD Himself is the foundation rock of our covenant assurance and security. His name is YAHWEH, the One Who Is (see Exodus 3:14), the Self-Sufficient One, and the Source of all life. Because HE IS, the fulfillment of all His covenant promises is 100% sure. Because HE IS, our safety and perseverance is 100% secure.
