Starting last week (Holy Week), Open Eyes Mission partner-trainee and Kagay-an Reformed Church elder-in-training Ernnel Tacandong and I began taking a direct role in establishing, structuring and strengthening the mission in Puerto which is led by another one of our partner-trainees, Brian Ranalan. It was deeply encouraging and edifying for me to worship the Lord with these precious brothers and sisters in Christ. I look forward to working closely with them towards the establishment and growth of their reforming congregation.

Please pray for the work of the gospel in Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City. Ask the Holy Spirit to work graciously and powerfully to establish God’s people there upon the sure foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection.
