Please pray that God’s word would continue to take root in the hearts of our brothers and sisters in La Paz. That they would cling to it as their food and life. That upon its solid foundation, they will find grounding and strength as they continue to suffer and struggle in the aftermath of the supertyphoon.

Since day 1 of the Haiyan/Yolanda devastation, our mission team and partners have visited, ministered to and provided much-needed relief and assistance to pastors and members of 5 churches in severely affected areas, in 3 provinces. We visit them regularly and listen to their struggles. We talk about their most pressing needs and the hindrances to their progress towards rehabilitation. In every visit, we minister to them and counsel them with God’s word, knowing that the crux of everything is our faith and walk with Christ. His word is clear:
