Tuesday night, during the large group meeting of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) at Purdue University Calumet (PUC), Hammond, Indiana, I was overjoyed to see my son Yanan (16) share the gospel from the “show me your glory” passage in Exodus (chapters 33 and 34) to a student from mainland China. A MAJOR MILESTONE! MAJOR ANSWER TO A FATHER’S MAJOR PRAYER! Rejoicing in Christ’s grace and faithfulness!
Please pray that the Lord will continue to use IVCF’s Large Group Meetings and “All Nations” Bible Studies at PUC to evangelize and disciple students from China, Africa, Latin America, and other “mission fields.”
Psalm 1271 Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.2 It is in vain that you rise up earlyand go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil;for he gives to his beloved sleep.3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.4 Like arrows in the hand of a warriorare the children of one’s youth.5 Blessed is the manwho fills his quiver with them!He shall not be put to shamewhen he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
Praise the Lord!

“But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” (1 Peter 3:15)
