Genesis 1-3
God is the Creator:
It is written in Genesis 1:1 that God created everything:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1)
In six days God created the world.
Day 1: God created Light and separated it from the darkness. (Gen. 1:3-5)
Day 2: God separated the waters from waters thus creating an expanse between them and calling it “Sky.” (Gen. 1:6-8)
Day 3: God gathered the waters of the earth into one place and let dry ground appear. Then God created plants and trees. (Gen. 1:9-13)
Day 4: God created “Lights” in the skies, the Sun, Moon, and Stars. (Gen. 1:14-19)
Day 5: God created fish and sea creatures to swim in the seas and birds and flying creatures to fly above the earth. (Gen. 1:20-23)
