Deaths cause by “unprecedented” monsoon rains and floods in Manila and Luzon has reached 95. More than 3.7 million individuals have been affected. Close to a million people have been displaced, 334,086 of whom are inside evacuation centers.
With areas in 11 cities still flooded, a new tropical storm (local name “Helen”; international name “Kai-Tak”) is now in northern Luzon, placing 15 provinces under storm signal #2 and 5 under signal #1. This early, 1 dead and 1 missing person has already been reported.
