On April 2-4, we conducted our Annual Workers and Trainees Retreat. We enjoyed 3 days of fun, Biblical studies, individual and group reflection, and re-focusing in beautiful Camiguin Island!

During the sessions (a cumulative total of 8 hours), Pastor Glem Melo expounded on Matthew 16:13-28. Much discussion about the nature of the church, church polity and church discipline ensued. Individual and group sharing, and class consultation on matters of church, ministry and life direction was conducted. It was all encouraging and beneficial to everyone. Most of all, important individual and group decisions were made that will definitely have a long-term impact on the work of the Lord in Mindanao and the Philippines.

In between, we also visited fun sites all over the island, such as the White Island, Ardent Hot Spring, Katibawasan Falls, Sunken Cemetery, Old Church Ruins, Walkway to the Old Volcano, and Santo Nino Cold Spring.
