Yesterday, we conducted our very 1st mission service in the village of Consolacion, Cagayan de Oro. I preached on Matthew 3:1-2: “Repent Because God’s Kingdom Rule Has Already Begun.” Those who attended were all migrant workers from the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, and were members of a Pentecostal church there. Through Biblical preaching and teaching, we hope to see them become more and more rooted and grounded in the gospel of salvation by grace alone through faith alone because of Jesus Christ alone.

Please pray for Open Eyes Mission trainee and partner Ernnel Tacandong who is tasked to conduct weekly foundational Bible studies for these precious souls. Together, let us ask the Lord to sustain and prosper this pioneering work.
