Five months after Haiyan/Yolanda, all the members of Christ Baptist Church in Pastrana, Leyte, continue to live in makeshift structures. Please remember them in your prayers.

The Lord blessed our 4th outreach to Haiyan/Yolanda victims-survivors. The 1st leg of our 5-day journey was in Pastrana, Leyte. It was my joy and privilege to visit, fellowship with, minister God’s word to and pray for our brothers and sisters at Christ Baptist Church in the supertyphoon-devastated municipality. Our team also provided for them a substantial amount of church rebuilding assistance, meat packs for each family and a good meal together.
To date, the roofs of their church building has been reconstructed (you can view pictures of its previous condition here), but all members of the congregation still live in makeshift structures.
Please continue praying for our Baptist brothers and sisters in Pastrana, Leyte. Ask the Lord to continue to give them much grace and strength.
